Getting Spanish food in the UK

I moved to the UK from Spain 2 years ago and the main thing that I miss from home is my Spanish Ham, all the UK supermarkets seem sell pre sliced ham with a weeks shelf life that needs to be kept in the fridge, and not a whole leg that will last me for a few months. Last week I found a website that I used to buy a Pata Negra it arrived within the week straight from Spain and I was able to pay through my Amazon account so I could trust that they where not going to steal my money and not send m...

A good forecast from home..

I moved to London 6 months ago and one of the things I find most unusual in the UK is the weather how it can be sunny, rain and snow in the same day. However I find it very hard to trust the UK weather forecasts the weather website that I used in Norway was www.yr.no and seems to be far better than anything that I can find in the UK and I would recommend it to anybody.

My expat story starts in Manchester in 2002. I got an Erasmus scholarship, I studied so hard to be one of the first to choose my own destiny and I succeed. I chose Manchester. What an error… I was so occupied with studying that I didn’t care to get information about where I was going.
